Youth Outreach Internship
Are you passionate about marketing and outreach? Do you love working with people and sharing information? Interested in education and community support?
The Martha’s Vineyard Youth Task Force (YTF) is seeking an intern to support Island youth. The intern will create marketing materials, develop a youth coalition and youth programming, and engage in administrative tasks. The intern will also learn about and educate the community about youth substance use, risky behaviors, and Positive Childhood Experiences.

Hours: 5-10 hours/week

Duties + Responsibilities
Create engaging marketing materials from flyers to social media posts.
Actively help develop a youth coalition and youth programming.
Learn about and educate the community about youth substance use and risky behaviors.
Learn about and educate the community about Positive Childhood Experiences and how the MVYTF contributes to this in our community.
Represent our organization at community events around the island.
Support administrative tasks such as replying to emails, maintaining schedules, and online supply ordering.
Skills + Experience
Required skills:
Communicating clearly and comfortably is a must.
Familiarity with multiple social media platforms.
Bonus points for:
Applicants that are highly organized are preferred.
Ability to speak English and Portuguese is desirable.
Preferred Education: background in education and youth, as well as, communications.
Ability to quickly pick up new tasks is a plus.
The ideal candidate:
Our ideal candidate will have a two years of high school experience.
Compensation
Compensation: $100-200 a week based on hours worked.

CAMP! Internship Program Requirements
BootCAMP!
CAMP! interns are required to participate in BootCAMP–a weekend of in-person professional development workshops. Topics covered include professionalism, goal setting, skill development, financial wellness, and preparing a professional profile.
Upon completion, interns will receive a certificate of completion. Exemptions may be permitted under exceptional circumstances.
When: Saturday + Sunday | June 27 + 28, 2026
Location: In-person at Slough Farm in Edgartown, MA.

During the End of Program Celebration, interns will reflect on their personal and professional goals and accomplishments relating to their internship experience.
