Community Health Internship
Do you have an interest in healthcare? Are you passionate about public health? Interested in learning about different health care clinics on Island?
ACE MV is looking for a community health intern! The intern will have the opportunity to work at different health agencies around the island for two weeks at a time and explore their future career and educational goals. Over the course of the internship, the selected applicant will get to work at 4 different organizations to learn all facets of community health.

Start Date: June 27, 2026
Hours: Part time | 3-5 days per week
Duration: June 27-August 21 | A commitment of at least 8 weeks is required.
Opportunity Open to: High School Students, College Students, and Young Professionals
Duties + Responsibilities
The daily duties will vary based on the organization
Support administrative functions, including record-keeping and meeting coordination
Assist with marketing and outreach efforts to promote public health initiatives
Work in a team environment

Compensation
Compensation: $2000 stipend upon completion of 8 weeks of the internship

By the end of the program:
The intern will have learned about the many facets of community health. This will be an enriching opportunity for the intern to explore their interests and interact with various professions in the health field.
CAMP! Internship Program Requirements
BootCAMP!
CAMP! interns are required to participate in BootCAMP – a weekend of in-person professional development workshops. Topics covered include professionalism, goal setting, skill development, financial wellness, and preparing a professional profile.
Upon completion, interns will receive a certificate of completion. Exemptions may be permitted under exceptional circumstances.
When: Saturday + Sunday | June 27 + 28, 2026
Location: In-person at Slough Farm in Edgartown, MA.

End of Program Celebration
During the End of Program Celebration, interns will reflect on their personal and professional goals and accomplishments relating to their internship experience.
