Communications & Event Coordination Internship
Are you social media-savvy? Do you enjoy finding creative ways to get a message across to an audience? Are you interested in event planning?
ACE MV is looking for a communications and event coordination intern to join our team! This part-time internship role focuses on marketing, social media content creation, and event planning. The intern will support the development of CAMP! by creating marketing content and materials. The intern will learn about the ins and outs of adult education programming and marketing, along with event coordination.

Start Date: Mid-June
Hours: 8 hours/ week | flexible weekly hours
Duration: A commitment of at least 8 weeks is required
Opportunity Open to: High School Students, College students, Young Professionals (20s)
Duties + Responsibilities
Create social media content including testimonials and interviews of CAMP participants
Capture content at program events (photos + videos)
Assist with event planning and coordination
Support Program Coordinators in data management
Skills + Experience
Required skills:
Able to take direction, show initiative, and work well in a team as well as independently
Tech-savvy (Google Drive, social media platforms, etc.)
Strong written communication skills (proof-reading, grammar, etc.)
Bonus points for:
Previous marketing or event coordination experience
Skills in photography, video editing, and capturing content

By the end of the program:
The intern will have learned about the behind the scenes of an education nonprofit. The intern will effectively use marketing software including Canva and data management software including a CRM. This will be an opportunity for the intern to explore their interests and uncover their strengths, areas of growth, and future goals.
CAMP! Internship Program Requirements
BootCAMP!
CAMP! interns are required to participate in BootCAMP – a weekend of in-person professional development workshops. Topics covered include professionalism, goal setting, skill development, financial wellness, and preparing a professional profile.
Upon completion, interns will receive a certificate of completion. Exemptions may be permitted under exceptional circumstances.
When: Saturday + Sunday | June 27 + 28, 2026
Location: In-person at Slough Farm in Edgartown, MA.

During the End of Program Celebration, interns will reflect on their personal and professional goals and accomplishments relating to their internship experience.
